Objective

Pediatrics and Nursing Care of Children and Adolescents 5 ECTS
Competence Goals:
The student knows how to assess and support the growth and development of children and adolescents, and the related individual and community-based factors. S/he can assess and support the health of children and adolescents with special needs. In addition, s/he is able to assess and support the sexual development and health of children and adolescents and to use family nursing working methods that foster family resources and parenthood. The student is also able to assess and define the need of care, to plan and provide nursing care for children and adolescents and to take into account the special issues related to this field. S/he can provide accurate, safe medical care for children and adolescents.
