Tavoitteet

The student learns to work and communicate in a multicultural group. He/she knows how to take cultural elements into consideration when working with people of different cultural backgrounds and is able to consider multicultural issues in his/her communication. The student is able to communicate in field-related situations at work in English.

The student is not familiar with his/her cultural background or its impact on acting in a multicultural work community. In his /her communication, he/she is not able to consider any cultural elements. The student is not familiar with international principles of good manners and cannot manage in work life situations in English.
Poor (1)
The student is able to describe some features of his/her cultural background and their impact on acting in a multicultural work community. In his /her communication, he/she is able to consider some cultural elements. The student is familiar with some of the international principles of good manners and can manage in the most usual work life situations in English.
Satisfactory (2)
The student is able to describe the most general features of his/her cultural background and their impact on acting in a multicultural work community. In his /her communication, he/she is able to consider cultural elements to some extent. The student is familiar with the most common international principles of good manners and can manage the most usual work life situations in English. He/she knows some professional vocabulary and concepts.

The student is able to describe his/her cultural background and its impact on acting in a multicultural work community. In his /her communication, he/she is able to consider different cultural elements. The student is familiar with international principles of good manners and can act even in demanding work life situations in English. He/she can use the basic professional vocabulary and concepts.

The student is able to describe comprehensively his/her cultural background and its impact on acting in a multicultural work community. In his /her communication, he/she can consider cultural elements to a high extent. The student is well familiar with international principles of good manners and can act both fluently and in a customer-oriented manner even in demanding work life situations in English. He/she masters the basic professional vocabulary and concepts.

He/she masters professional vocabulary and concepts comprehensively.
