Objective
The work ability coordinator training consists of two 5-credit study courses: "Renewable Services for Employment and Work Ability" and "Comprehensive Work Approach to Employment and Work Ability". Training package equips the student to work on employment and work ability and to work in cooperation networks.
Working capacity coordinators work in the labor administration, in the privet companies, in the municipalities and cities, and in the social and health sector in various positions.
The purpose of the course:
The student acquires basic skills in supervision and learns to work as part of networks for employment and work ability support. The student learns to identify work ability risks and early intervention methods. The student is able to promote a sustainable rehabilitation / employment solution and return to work.
Learning outcomes:
After completing the course, the student
• understand the importance of maintaining, assessing and promoting multidisciplinary work ability in their own role and identify key work ability risks
• masters inclusive approaches to goal setting
• is able to choose methods to support employment and ability to work
• is able to control and coordinate various work ability processes
• is able to work in networks to support the employee, supervisor and work community
• is able to develop the promotion of employment and work ability at different interfaces
