Bachelor´s Thesis (15cr)

Objective

The thesis project combines various objectives of mastering a profession. The student indicates his/her ability to apply what he/she has learned by solving a professional problem and developing his/her professional field. The thesis project may be investigative or it may be linked to product/service planning or applications in one’s own field. 
To obtain a degree of a university of applied sciences the student must complete a maturity exam related to his/her thesis project which indicates his/her familiarity with the tourism field and his/her language skills in Finnish, Swedish or English. The topic/task of the thesis project may be from another country and/or it may be completed in another country and/or for a client from another country.
The student works on his/her own thesis in thesis group supervision according to the given schedule and objectives agreed on at the beginning of the process.
