Objectives:
Students develop basic oral and written communication skills and are familiar with the Finnish culture. Students get basic skills in Finnish for simple communication situations in everyday life. Students learn to introduce themselves and others, can ask and answer questions about personal details, such as where he/she lives, people he/she knows and things he/she has.The student is able to express basic ideas and manage in everyday situations in Finnish. He/she can interact in a simple way provided the other person talks slowly and clearly and is prepared to help.
